FAQs
An LED volume is a large curved LED screen (or set of screens) used to display digital backgrounds and environments in real time. It's used in virtual production for film and TV, and increasingly for live events and brand activations that need an immersive, dynamic visual backdrop.
Virtual production combines live-action filming with real-time digital environments, typically powered by game engines like Unreal Engine. Instead of filming in front of a green screen and adding backgrounds later, the environment is displayed live on an LED wall behind the talent, so lighting and reflections match in-camera.
